SOFTWARE/HARDWARE STARTING PROBLEMS – ERROR MESSAGE “iDS not found”

 

This problem occurs when the software cannot detect the iDS due to: 

  • defect USB cable
  • not working USB port
  • defect computer
  • problems with current software application installation
  • defect iDS
  • try with a different USB cable
  • try a different USB port on the computer
  • try a different computer (if possible)
  • uninstall and reinstall software application

HOW TO UNINSTALL MASTER SOFTWARE:

 

C;/Program Files (x86)/iDS/ScanSea (for excample)

Run "uninstall.exe"

 

Install your master software new.

In case you did not keep a copy of your master software, please request another master software by check marking the filed "Master Software Request" in the form on the right.


IMPORTANT:

 

During software starting process and/or during model updates (automatically when software starts), make sure not to:

  • power down computer
  • run laptop battery empty
  • disconnect USB cable

This could damage the iDS and there is unfortunately no way to protect the hardware!
